Michael was born in New Orleans.  He received in BA in history from Southeastern University. Michael started his career with The Louisiana State Parks and recently retired after over 30 years of service. He became the Head Curator of the Port Hudson State Historic Site and the Chief Weapons Officer for the State Parks.
