Port Hudson State Historic Site is one of the most unique and pristine Civil War battlefields in the United States.  It remarkably retains much of its wartime appearance.  It is a hallmark of the preservation effort at Port Hudson that a Civil War soldier who fought here would recognize the land and be able to say, “I know this place, it is Port Hudson.”  We cordially invite you to become a member of the Friends of Port Hudson and help us carry forward our mission to preserve the land and tell the soldier’s story. 
You are invited to join Friends of Port Hudson and help us to preserve and protect the historical site of the longest siege in US military history. Membership dues help defray the costs of our educational programs, website and other expenses in our fully volunteer organization.
FOPH  will be a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization mid year 2019 and contributions will be tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

• General $1000 includes 2 LIFETIME memberships t shirts and for immediate family, and a Norwood/Searles numbered Port Hudson print.
• Colonel $500 includes up to 4 t shirts for immediate family, 1 LIFETIME membership. 
• Major $250 includes membership for your immediate family, and 2 Port Hudson T shirts
• Captain $100 includes membership for your immediate family members, and 1 Port Hudson T shirt
• Lieutenant $50 1 Port Hudson t shirt
